Artwork Requirements
For the best engraving results, please provide a clear, high-quality black-and-white logo or graphic.
Vector artwork is preferred when available. High-resolution black-and-white artwork may also be accepted.
Simple, high-contrast designs generally produce the best results when laser engraved onto leather.
If you are unsure whether your artwork will work, please contact us and send your design for review.
Leather & Engraving Results
Leather is a natural material, and laser engraving results can vary depending on the color, grain, texture, finish, and type of leather.
The laser works by darkening the surface of the leather. Because of this, some dark leathers may not provide enough contrast for the engraving to be clearly visible.
Laser engraving generally will not show well on black leather.
If we have concerns about how your design will appear on the leather you selected, we will contact you.
Logo Size & Placement
Your logo or graphic will be sized and positioned to best fit the available engraving area on the product you purchase.
The exact size of the engraving will vary depending on:

-
Leather type
-
Design detail
You may include placement requests or other instructions with your order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you laser engrave my business logo onto leather?
Yes. We can laser engrave many customer-supplied business, company, organization, or personal logos onto eligible Ozark Mountain Leather products. For best results, please provide a clean black-and-white version of your logo.
Does the $25 fee include preparing my logo for engraving?
Yes. The $25 fee includes light modifications and preparation of your existing artwork as needed to make it suitable for laser engraving.
Extensive graphic design, logo creation, or rebuilding complex or low-quality artwork may require an additional design fee. We will contact you before doing any work that would require an additional charge.
What type of artwork should I send?
A clean, high-resolution black-and-white logo or graphic works best. Vector artwork is preferred when available.
Can you engrave a color logo?
Laser engraving itself is not printed in color. If you have a color logo, please contact us. In some cases, the artwork may be converted to a suitable black-and-white design for engraving.
Can you laser engrave a photograph?
Yes, in some cases we can laser engrave photographs onto select leather products. Photo engraving is not included in this $25 logo and graphic engraving fee and will require an additional charge.
Not every photograph is suitable for laser engraving. The quality, contrast, detail, background, and overall composition of the image can affect how well it will reproduce on leather.
Please send us your photograph for review before ordering. We will determine whether the image is suitable for laser engraving and let you know about any additional artwork preparation or engraving fees before proceeding.
Can you engrave on black leather?
Laser engraving generally does not show well on black leather because the laser darkens the leather. Please contact us if you are unsure whether the leather you selected is suitable for engraving.
Does this listing include the wallet, bag, Bible cover, or accessory?
No. This listing is for the laser engraving service only. The leather product must be purchased separately.
